ABOUT THE TRIP
One of the world’s best preserved mysteries lies halfway across the world and we’re taking you to see it up close and personal!
Together, we’ll time travel thousands of years in the past and step into ancient tombs and pyramids. Explore one of the world’s oldest open air markets, filled with hundreds of local crafts and the scent of local spices. Take a multi day cruise down the Nile River, stopping along the way to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture that only a country like Egypt can offer. We’ll visit Nubian villages, dance our nights away with the locals, see mummies in real life, get henna tattoos and to finish it all off, we’re taking a dip in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea.
However, we haven’t even gotten to the best part yet! Making amazing new friendships with people from around the world! Now isn’t that remarkable?

ITINERARY
DAY 1: Arrival
Welcome to Egypt!

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by one of our guides and transferred to the hotel. Evening is free at your leisure – however we recommend you rest for a bit before attending our Remarkable Places welcome dinner! We’re really excited to meet you all and make a toast for an amazing experience together!
DAY 2
World Wonders

We’re starting our day with the Pyramids area and the famous Sphinx. Enjoy some free time for photos before being heading to visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. During your visit, you’ll get to see the Royal Mummy Room, containing the mummified remains of ancient Egyptian pharaohs. After, you’ll transfer to the oldest bazaar in Egypt, Khan el-Khalili.
DAY 3
Al Fayoum Desert

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to El Fayoum. During your visit you’ll enjoy a pottery demonstration and will be given the chance to try your own hand at creating a piece in the workshop. Afterwards you’ll visit Qaroun Lake for a horseback ride on the beach and a half-hour Felucca ride. Lunch will be provided before our return to Cairo.
DAY 4
Temple of Love

We have an early morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, we’ll be transferred to Aglika Island by motorboat to visit the ruins of Philae Temple. Before lunchtime, we’ll be transferred from Aglika Island back to the docking area to board our Nile cruise. Enjoy lunch on board. This afternoon, there is an optional ride to visit Elephantine island and Botanical Gardens.
DAY 5
Nubian Village

After breakfast on board, we will get the chance to visit one of the oldest villages in Egypt, the Nubian Village. We’ll get to have tea with one of the families, get a chance to see their pet crocodiles and get henna tattoos if we wish. After lunch, we’ll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, an unusual double temple dedicated to two ancient Egyptian gods.
DAY 6
Luxor Temple

Enjoy breakfast before our transfer to Edfu temple by bus. Visit the Temple of Horus, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful and preserved Temples in Egypt, and dates back to Ptolemaic times. Continue to sail to Luxor and visit its famous temple before dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 7
Valley of The Kings

We disembark our cruise in the morning and begin our visit to the “Valley of the Kings” and Hatshepsut Temple, which is one of the greatest Egyptian architectural achievements. When we’re finished, we’ll be on our way to our hotel in Hurghada to check in. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
DAY 8
A Day in The Red Sea

After breakfast, it’s time for our private half day snorkeling trip with lunch buffet on board. Jump into the red sea, explore the incredible coral reef and then return to our hotel to enjoy the remainder of the day lazing around at the beach and checking out the incredible amenities and lounges our hotel has to offer.
DAY 9
Sahara Desert

Our morning will be spent at leisure. This is the last day of our experience and what better way than to spend it in the Sahara desert?! After lunch we’ll join a private transfer to embark on a Bedouin Life desert tour by 4×4 with camel ride, dinner under the stars and the chance to watch the last sunset of the trip together!
DAY 10
Bye Egypt!

Time to say goodbye! After breakfast, there will be a transfer to Hurghada airport to catch our flight back to Cairo to connect with international flights home. Our trip ends upon arrival at the airport. Until next time, new friends, until next time!
OUR FAVORITE HOTELS
These are all places that we have stayed at ourselves. We have chosen them for cleanliness, convenience and comfort.

THE STEIGENBERGER HOTEL
The Steigenberger Hotel is right in central Cairo, not far from where all of the hotspots are. We love this hotel because of its prime location, great breakfast choices and comfortable and modern rooms. The perfect place to rest our heads after a few days exploring Egypt.
Nile River Cruise: Esmerelda
All aboard! We’re always excited for this part of our trip because we get to stay on a boat and take in all parts of The Nile River. The rooms are great, the top deck of the boat is great for sunbathing while we’re sailing and the food and entertainment on the boat is always a good time!

MERAKI RESORT
The Meraki Resort is a young and modern resort that sits on a beautiful beach facing the Red Sea. We love this hotel as no detail was left out when it came to the design, it’s got a lot of entertainment happening, and of course – the food!
